Is this in the correct section?

What do you guys feed your free range laying Hens on through out the Winter? Wheat? Crushed Wheat? Corn? Layers Pellets?

I've a mixed bunch of hens; Indian game, Wellsummers, Light sussex and ..... Warrens (Hybrids).

good question, we dont have a chicken section, but have moved this to "living off the land" as that covers livestock

I was compassionate for the fox, until a few days ago, when he killed one of our duck and chucks, and left them laying :wallbash: now he has a death warrent

Boiled rice and pasta? I will try that. I had a pair of Shamo in the same pen living very happy together untill after not having any eggs for a while I noticed the Shamo's breaking the eggs so... I sold them at the weekend and bought a young Indian game cockrel and Hen to go with my other 2 Indian hens. Now fingers crossed that I may start getting at least a few eggs a day.
